The 'Buren' collection is inspired by the columns of the Palais Royal in Paris, their iconic geometry and their black and white palette. I love this neighbourhood, this Parisian spirit and its visitors who make wishes by throwing coins on the central column. This collection plays with empty space and material, which follow one another on the chain links and the body of the ring. The free, empty parts represent yin, considered to be the sacred feminine, softness, generosity, calm. The full, metal space embodies yang, partly masculine and solar, in motion.
