The "Buren" collection was designed in India, where I live. It is inspired by the columns of the Palais Royal in Paris, their iconic geometry, and their black and white palette. I love this neighborhood and its Parisian spirit, which also evokes Coco Chanel. This place, with visitors making wishes by tossing coins onto the central column, is also a space of hope.
The collection plays with empty space and material, which alternate along the chain links and the body of the ring. The free, empty parts represent the yin, considered the sacred feminine: softness, generosity, and calm. The solid, metallic space embodies the yang: the masculine and solar aspect, full of movement.
