The 'Buren' collection is inspired by the columns of the Palais Royal in Paris, their iconic geometry, and their black and white palette. I love this neighborhood and this Parisian spirit, and its visitors who make wishes by tossing coins onto the central column. This collection plays with empty space and matter, which alternate on the links of the chain and the body of the ring. The free, empty parts represent yin, considered as the sacred feminine, gentleness, generosity, and calm. The solid, metal space embodies yang, partly masculine and solar, in motion.
