SANTA CRUZ
Beyond the religious reference,SantaCruzevokes for me the wonderful
memories of a place where I loved to recharge my batteries when I lived in Cuba.
I remember the long white sandy beaches between Havana and MatanzaSanta
Cruz. A symbol of beauty and tropical nature, punctuated by the percussion andtrumpets of the Guiro. Today, I'm reminded of this in Goa, near my home, where there's a pretty littlehome, where there's a pretty little white chapel calledSantaCruz.TheSantaCruzcollection plays on this sacred universe, where crosses symbolize contemplation and peace.symbolize contemplation and peace, under the sun of Cuba or Goa.
