When jewelry becomes a link between body and soul
I have been designing jewelry for a long time.
I learned alongside major brands, explored mass market, supported designers... But very quickly, the frantic pace of fashion seemed meaningless to me. Too fast. Too smooth. Too far from what I was trying to convey.
A new breath from elsewhere
Twenty years ago, I went to live in India.
This country not only offered me a new horizon, it gave me another way of seeing the world.
A new intensity. A different relationship to time.
There, I learned to slow down, to look differently. To open myself to a more inner, more symbolic form of beauty.
From practice to gesture
It was also in India that I discovered Kundalini Yoga.
This practice reconnected me to my body, to my breath, to a form of essential presence.
I wanted jewelry to become much more than an accessory.
It could become an anchor, an intention support, a symbol to wear on the skin, between the visible and the invisible.
This is how the Dorothée Sausset – Holistic Story brand was born.
The first piece of jewelry
My very first piece of jewelry was the Thali, or Mangalsutra.
A traditional Indian necklace, a bearer of sacred ties, often offered during a union.
For me, it embodies something even vaster: a link between the intimate and the universal.
A piece of jewelry that you wear not to appear, but to remember, to connect, to recenter yourself.
A house to tell stories, connect, transcend
Since this first piece of jewelry, I have never stopped creating.
Each piece in the Holistic Story collection is conceived as a silent narrative, a discreet presence that accompanies you.
An adornment, yes. But above all: a message, an energy, a memory.
Thank you for being part of this adventure.
Thank you for giving these jewels their true raison d'être:
connecting you to what matters.
